What's new in Facebook New public Groups Experience



In this blog I have written all the details about Facebook new group experience update. this update is applied on 15 April 2021. so if you opned this blog you might me thinking that what's new in this update,  Stay there i have written all the features of this update

1. Auto member approval
                                        Facebook wants to make this easier for peoples to join groups hence they introduces this feature With this feature new members can join your Facebook group easily and admin didn't have to approve dozens of members requests . I think this is a cool feature that Facebook has introduced what do you think about that tell me in comments but admin still have control on who can post.


2.Greater Reach
                       with this feature people will be able to discover groups content in more places. This is very cool feature because now your groups post will be shown to peoples on News Feed and some popular posts from the group will be shown on the group tab on Facebook app or website


3.New safety tool
                            Facebook has introduced new safety tools for admins to control group safety and keep group clean which includes as you also have seen that there are lots of spammers which comments their website or telegram link on posts in groups so for controlling this Facebook bring new safety tools.

  • Admin can delete posts and can turn off commenting for post.
  • Admin can limit the promotional posts by Restricting posts based on the quality of content.
  • and many more

4.No More Messenger Rooms and Chats
                                                      Facebook was currently testing Chats and Messenger Rooms within Groups, and but in new public group experience, these features will not be available in your Group also Watch Party.

5.Admin Assist
                         Admin assist is also a great tool in this update. This tool is like a bot which automatically perform admin tasks which admin has set. for example if admin has set that block posts from certain peoples then it will do it automatically and if admin has set that block posts with links, videos, photos it will automatically do that.


And the most important thing is that, this update will be available for public group. Groups which have their privacy to private will operate as usual with old feature to protect the group's privacy.
